A museum of remembrance dedicated to the Battle of the Ardennes, featuring artifacts, reconstructed scenes, and a powerful immersion into the events of December 1944.

The December 44 Historical Museum, located in La Gleize, is situated on the actual site of the December 1944 battles. The museum showcases a large collection of military objects, uniforms, period equipment and documents, alongside reconstructed scenes, across more than 1,000 m² of exhibition space.

Among its key exhibits: the restored Tiger II tank outside the museum; display cases devoted to soldiers, civilians, daily life during wartime, including the role of women. The museum also includes a projection room with archival footage, informative panels, and immersive staging to help visitors understand the context, events, and aftermath of the German offense.

The museum serves as a living place of memory: not just presenting artifacts, but striving to engage current generations in the gravity of war, the value of peace, and the importance of historical awareness.
