The Maison du Pays de Salm offers an immersive visit where you can learn about the history of the County of Salm, its unique geology (schist, coticule, arkose), its folklore, and its legends — including the Macralles. The experience begins with an educational film and continues through geological galleries (including the stone‑sharpening coticule), models, historical tools, and a legend room with sound effects. There is also a children’s path with adapted explanations for younger visitors.
